Something unique about myself: Being a military brat I was able to spend 3 years living in Okinawa, Japan.
Favorite thing about being in AFROTC: The opportunity it has given me to meet so many great people!
Most challenging part of being in AFROTC: Learning how to improve my time management skills.
What leadership opportunities have you been given as a cadet in AFROTC? Every position in a flight will give an opportunity to lead. But now with being a AS200 I can help/guide the new AS100’s through their first year in the AFROTC program.
What advice would you give a student thinking about becoming a cadet? To give it a shot and never give up, it’s not always fun or easy but pushing through to the end is 100% worth your while.


Additional Information:
I wanted to join the AFROTC for the sole purpose being able to serve my country while also completing my education. AFROTC seemed like the perfect way to do that by going to school and gaining a commission into the Air Force after graduating. For me I joined in the Spring of 2022 by attending an orientation during the Fall 2021 semester and completing the list of tasks required. With that in mind I am a semester behind all my fellow AS200 cadets who were the biggest help by correcting my uniform, teaching me basic D&C moves and verbiage for all tasks. In all I’ve loved my journey with the AFROTC so far and am excited for what’s to come.
