Name: Chloe Pickell
Hometown: Moyock, NC
Class year: AS400
Major: Criminal Justice
Desired Career Field: Cyberspace Operations
Extracurricular Activities/Sports/Hobbies: Lifting, running, and playing with my dog
Something unique about myself: I ran a 10-mile Spartan Race my freshman year
Favorite thing about being in AFROTC: The friendships that I have been able to make. You are with the people in your class multiple times a week for four years. Going through each year and tackling the challenges that go along with it brings you closer. My friends support each other at our highs and our lows.
Most challenging part of being in AFROTC: Time management balancing AFROTC, being a full-time student, having a part-time job, and still making time for yourself and your friends
What leadership opportunities have you been given as a cadet in AFROTC? I have been able to lead at Det010 as a Flight Acquisitions Officer, Sabres Commander, Physical Fitness Officer, Deputy Inspector General, Deputy Operations Group Commander, and now Inspector General
What advice would you give a student thinking about becoming a cadet? Learn to be flexible and have contingency plans.
