Hometown: Alexandria, VA Class year: Senior, 2021 Major: Mechanical Engineering Desired Career Field: Developmental Engineer (62E) Extracurricular Activities/Sports/Hobbies: Hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, mountain biking, and Netflix. Something unique about myself: I've been to 18 countries. Favorite thing about being in AFROTC: The friendships made during my time in ROTC along with the opportunity to grow my leadership skills over my four years in the program. Most challenging part of being in AFROTC: Balancing the ROTC workload along with full-time engineering coursework and a part-time job throughout all of college. What leadership opportunities have you been given as a cadet in AFROTC?: I held detachment level positions such as Wing Inspector General, AS200 Flight Commander, and Deputy Operations Commander. What advice would you give a student thinking about becoming a cadet?: Enjoy your time in the program, pay attention to your deadlines and take advantage of every opportunity available.
