T6 Orientation with Lieutenant colonel ruffin

In conjunction with Black History Month Aviation Heritage Events, cadets and guests from Detachment 10 had the opportunity to meet Lieutenant Colonel Kenyatta Ruffin and Second Lieutenant Gabriel Jenkins on Sunday, 28 February.  The event included a tour of the T-6 aircraft and cadets learned about the opportunities and benefits of joining the United States Air Force as they shared their personal stories.

The event is part of the Accelerating the Legacy series, a collaborative series of events among Total Force Airmen primarily from AETC and AMC that embraces the mandate from USAF leaders to embrace, promote, and ensure inclusion and diversity within the Service.
